Updates updates updates

I just realized that my last post was on my RIPPER weekend lol...

Much has been going on and I just got back from my trip to Sydney (ok, 'interview trip', lest I make it sound as if I went there for a holiday :P) and already I'm bogged down with work, so you can imagine how difficult it is trying to get into the mood to blog XD

It was pretty interesting, the Sydney trip...I just realized that it was my first time going interstate alone....and for reasons other than for a holiday lol. It was pretty unnerving at first, given the fact that I had to travel to some unknown suburb for an interview that I wasn't even sure if I was properly prepared for. Luckily enough, the route to the suburb was pretty straightforward...a 50-minute train ride from Central to Caringbah station, followed by a 15-minute walk to the hospital. And I have to say, I encountered quite a bit of luck...the hotel I chose was a convenient 2-minute walk from Central, and its back doors opened out to ChinaTown (something I didn't realize until I arrived there lol). Thankfully everything was alright, since the bookings and arrangements were all done at the eleventh hour.

I got to eat meh green tea buns!! XD (sorry, I just had to do that)

...Not to mention, green tea ice cream, green tea gelato, green tea latte, green tea mochi (heh)

My greatest few regrets were
1) The fact that I didn't realize that thursday was late night shopping night in Sydney, and like an idiot I returned to my hotel at 5-ish and headed off to the cybercafe to kill time (kill time?? kill time besides shopping on late night shopping night?? Damn.)

2) Not walking straight into Starbucks and grabbing the green tea latte that I knew I should've gotten T___T

...And I can't believe they forgot to remove the magnetic strip from my top!! Arghh now I'm going to set off all the alarms in every shop I enter. How the hell am I supposed to wear it??

More on the Sydney Adventure when I have the mood :P

And did I mention how I found a baby roach, which was duly exterminated (and rather promptly) in the bathroom of my hotel? Ugh.
